At G. D Goenka Public School, Aligarh education is designed to meet the basic learning needs of students. In doing so, it is also intended to prepare students to benefit from secondary education. In keeping with this broad aim, primary education is geared towards enabling students to develop essential learning skills and providing them with basic learning content. The school identifies three primary aims of education:
1.to enable the child to live a full life as a child and to realize his or her potential as a unique individual
2. to enable the child to develop as a social being through living and co-operating with others and so contribute to the good of society
3. to prepare the child for further education and lifelong learning.

Physical Education
• Physical education is important in as students' bodies are growing rapidly and require physical activity. In addition to physical strength, students are encouraged to participate in sports and games to ensure that they acquire team spirit at an early age.
